About us
Clarity studio is an interdisciplinary research group at the University of Genoa.
We like to imagine a simpler, more efficient world. More enjoyable. We challenge the bewilderment of overinformation and the hostility of digital services. We don’t like reading bureaucratic jargon. We strive for innovation, fabricating problem-solving tools for everyone.

Research
We work to design and implement digital services that explain complexity by removing irrelevant information, bring clarity to clutter, and are enjoyable to use
Teaching
Our teaching spans from foundational to advanced levels. We teach Digital Tools for Graphic Design to support spatial reasoning and visualization, Signal Processing as a foundation for computational thinking, Artificial Intelligence for understanding learning systems, and Web Design and Data Visualization for creating effective, data-driven communication.
At the PhD and postdoctoral level, our teaching focuses on data-driven principles and design-based inquiry to explore, interpret, and communicate complex phenomena across scientific and societal domains.
People
We like to continuously learn new things, and teach each other. We are not afraid of the hardest tasks, and we never settle.
Media & Outreach
We had the privilege of having our work presented on several media outlets.
